John Simmons HyperText - This Site!
This site is continuously changing and upgrading to the latest available WordPress bells and whistles. I continue to add functions while simplifying the site. If you are reading this, you see how it works. All of my current sites are responsive unless a fixed layout is desired (which also usually works in tablets and phones).
The visible website is a small part of a total digital marketing presence.
We built the current site many years ago using a non-responsive layout. This is from a test site which showcases new WordPress features such as header video and an "infinite scroll" page. "Infinite Scroll" is trendy, but in many cases can take away from landing page simplicity. I am currently working on a new page with eCommerce and online courses.
Ta.tteasy: B2B Site for Tatoo Kiosks
This is a basic B2B site with a lot of forms for presales, partners and pilot programs. On one of the pages is a good example of the 3D Web, a model of a kiosk which has not yet been built, but helps to clarify how the product will look and function. You can interactively "walk" around the model on the page or you can switch to VR goggles.
Pirate's Atoll - a website for a virtual world
This site relates to other services that are part of the 3D Web. Pirate's Atoll is a site with mythopoeic whimsy that introduces people to an opensimulator world. The site hosts services and items for sale and has successfully been used to coordinate several large events in the virtual world.
St. Nicholas Orthodox Church
This is an information site for a local church parish. It includes news, a schedule, calendar, and sermon blog. There is also interactive fundraising information, and donations can be made on the site. While this is an older site and was not developed to be responsive, it still works well on a variety of devices. The custom theme borrows visual effects from a fresco, and is called "ikonic".
